For the second in our webinar series, we are warmly welcoming Michelle Jackson from the Institute of Science and Technology to talk to us about the ins and outs of professional registration: what it is, how to do it and why you should bother.

There are many benefits to becoming professionally registered, and with a number of institutions starting to seriously look at career pathways, becoming professionally registered/accredited is becoming an important undertaking.
Michelle will:
  • Introduce the Institute of Science and Technology and how they can help with professional registration
  • Explain Professional Registration and the benefits
  • Describe the different levels of registration
  • Outline the requirements
  • Explain the competency framework
  • Describe how to renew registration, and CPD requirements

Michelle is the Head of Faculty Technical Services, University of Manchester
In addition to a varied career in senior technical management and technical career development, Michelle is Registrar at the Institute of Science and Technology.  This session will cover professional registration, including routes, requirements and practical advice.
